DVD Regions

The DVD region code identifies a DVD's compatibility with the players typically solid in a particular region.

The following graphic show the approximate location of each region.

Region 0 (or "region free") is compatible with DVD players from any region.

Region 2 covers the UK, Europe, Japan, South africca and the Middle East.DVDs which are region 2 should play in the following of places:

Albania, Androrra, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Eygpt, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vatican City, Yemen, Yugoslavia.

Region 2 DVDs may not work on DVD players in other countries.

DVD Regions

Q: Is it possible to give me a delivery date for the order I’ve just placed?

A: All of our newspaper and magazine offers ask readers to please allow 28 days for delivery which is of course 28 days from when we receive the order, having said that you’ll be pleased to know that our orders will arrive considerably earlier. If you are responding to a new offer that has just been published these normally are sent out as bulk shipments approximately 10-14 days after publication date and therefore orders which arrive with us 10-14 days after the offer has first been published are supplied far quicker.

If you are ordering titles from our regular catalogue these will usually be shipped within 7 days of receipt. Currently we send everything by Royal Mail second class post, however in the new year we are planning to introduce faster turnaround times and delivery methods for catalogue items.

Q: I ordered a week ago on line and didn’t get confirmation of my payment?

A: This was a problem that we had until recently with our website when we were using PayPal to process payments, however now that we have switched from PayPal to EPDQ you will receive a confirmation E-mail immediately after completing your transaction.

Q: I have tried to order online, having entered all the details correctly the order was rejected because of my credit / debit card details.

A: We use Barclays Bank EPDQ to process our payments and they in turn use verified by Visa to establish the validity of the credit card information supplied. As you would expect we have no control over the financial transaction between yourselves and EPDQ, all that happens is that we receive a confirmation from them when a payment has been received and at that point we are able to process your order. If you are experiencing a problem with EPDQ then you need to speak to your bank and/or Credit Card Company.

Q: I ordered 2 sets, will they arrive together?

A: Each order is processed individually which helps us to reduce costs by standardising out pick and pack operation. If you order 2 individual CD’s then it is likely that these will be packed together, however if you order 2 collections these will be sent individually.

Q: I wish to order a DVD for delivery to the US

A: Place your order and additional postage will be added at the checkout. For additional postage costs see our `Delivery Information` Page.

Q: I ordered a DVD - I placed the order by text message and was charged £3.

A: In that case you did not order from us. We do not accept orders by text only by post or via our website.

Q: Are CFABS and CMFABS all original recordings by the original artists named?

A: All of the CD’s that we offer are the original recordings by the original artists unless we state otherwise. Wherever possible we will also state whether recordings are live and recording date information and personnel if this is available to us.

Q: A few moments ago, we ordered 3 DVD´s online, but too late we have noticed that the address is wrong. Can you change it?

A: Yes we can. As long as you tell us straight away we can amend any errors or mistakes in product ordered or delivery address.

Q: I experience difficulty with delivery (two doors and the postman quite often cannot open front door and also if I am at work, package too big to deliver)...So can I have the parcel (DVDs) delivered to work address.

A: Yes you can. When placing your order there is an option to allow you to enter a different delivery address and person, which is ideal if you wish to send a gift to someone.
