On
April 14th 1970, more than 200 thousand miles out in space, an
oxygen tank exploded, disabling the Odyssey spacecraft. To get back
safely Apollo 13 had to orbit the moon and sling themselves on the
correct trajectory back to Earth. The world watched, waited and
prayed for their safe return.
